How I Work

I practice attachment-based psychoanalytical psychotherapy both in-person and online.

Working collaboratively, we'll explore how the echoes of past relationships might impact the way you think and feel today.

I offer a safe, supportive, and compassionate space where you can deepen your understanding of your inner world and make meaningful changes. My approach is grounded in empathy, curiosity, and respect for each person’s unique journey. I believe that the challenges we face often arise from early experiences and relationships, and by gently exploring these patterns together, new possibilities for healing and growth can emerge.

In my work, I place great importance on the therapeutic relationship itself. I am committed to walking alongside you as you navigate difficulties, helping you to uncover strengths, develop healthier ways of relating to yourself and others, and move toward a more fulfilling and authentic life.

About Me

I come from a background in acting and musical theatre, where my focus was understanding a character and their narrative. Now, I focus on understanding you, and the story that has brought you to where you are today. A deep curiosity in people has drawn me to both fields, and there are more similarities than you might expect.

I am currently training at The Bowlby Centre which specialises in attachment, and hold a UKCP trainee membership. I strive for an inclusive, welcoming space where clients of all ages, cultural backgrounds, identities, and life experiences can express themselves freely.

My studies draw on the work on seminal thinkers, research-based findings of John Bowlby, Mary Ainsworth and Mary Main as well as my own life experience.

My Services

Short-term Therapy

Short-term therapy is available for those who would like focused support around a particular issue or life challenge.

Sessions last 50 minutes and usually take place once a week, either in person or online, depending on what feels best for you.

Short-term work can provide a space to gain clarity, new perspectives, and practical tools within a set timeframe, usually a minimum of 6 months.

Long-term Therapy

I offer long-term therapy as a gentle and supportive space for ongoing reflection, growth, and change. Our therapeutic relationship is open-ended for you to make use of for as long as is helpful to you.

Sessions are usually held once or twice a week, each lasting 50 minutes, giving a steady rhythm that helps the process unfold at a comfortable pace.

You can choose to meet in person at my practise in Stevenage, or online—whatever feels most accessible and supportive for you.

My Therapeutic Approach

Safe Confidentiality

I prioritise the confidentiality of your therapy sessions, ensuring a secure and private environment for your healing journey. Mutual trust is key to our relationship.

Empathetic Guidance

My therapeutic approach is rooted in empathy and understanding, providing a supportive space for you to explore and process your experiences with compassion and care. I commit fully to our time each week, and tailor each session to you, meeting you where you are.

Personalised Attachment Care

The relationship between each therapist and client is unique. We will work to understand our relational dynamic - what is at play consciously and unconsciously and how it may reflect situations outside of the therapy room.
